The backpack for emergencies
Anyone who lives in seismic areas or where emergencies related to natural phenomena that may require a sudden evacuation are possible (or in progress!), should always have a emergency backpack. We're just giving you some advice here, but don't forget to contact the mayor and the civil protection of your city for more information.
Among the items that this backpack must absolutely contain there are:
1. a water bottle full of water. Water may not be easily available during the first hours of an emergency and it is therefore advisable to have a small supply;
2. a whistle to ask for help;
3. a torch a dynamo to be able to move even in the dark;
4. life-saving drugs (asthma, heart disease, etc.), difficult to find;
5. energy foods (chocolate, sugar, biscuits);
6. a pair of eyeglasses spare.
It can also be useful to have some on hand
closed shoes, to move more easily among any rubble.
The following items are also important:
- one jacket to shelter from the cold;
- one mask for powders;
- The cellular to communicate your position or ask for help. Remember that in an emergency the telephones may not work. Also remember that telephone lines must remain free for the most serious cases
- money;
- i papers;
- change of underwear.
