Remembering the Irpinia earthquake, two days to discover seismic events

On the occasion of the anniversary of the earthquake that struck Irpinia on 23 November 1980, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) offers the world of schools two days dedicated to the discovery of earthquakes and effective actions to prevent seismic risk.
The meetings will take place online on the mornings of November 23 and 24 and will be differentiated by school orders.
It begins today, Tuesday 23 November, with the activities dedicated to secondary school students, while the day of 24 November will be reserved for primary school students, fourth and fifth grades and for junior secondary school students.
