Since the beginning of the sequence of the earthquake of magnitude 6.0 which occurred at 03:36 Italian time on August 24, the National Seismic Network ofIstituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) has located a total of over 4800 events
: 158 earthquakes of magnitude between 3.0 and 4.0; 15 localized ones of magnitude between 4.0 and 5.0 and one of magnitude greater than 5.0 (the one of magnitude 5.4 (Mw 5.3) which took place on August 24 at 04:33 Italian time in the Norcia area (PG).

From 19.00 yesterday evening (time of the last update) only one event of magnitude greater than or equal to 3.0 was recorded at 23 on 20 August, magnitude 3, located in the Province of Perugia near Norcia.
