Rome, August 24 2017 
Published on the Story maps & earthquakes channel of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) the Story Map on the seismic sequence Amatrice-Visso-Norcia.ll 24 August 2016 a strong earthquake hit an area between Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo and Marche, in the band with the highest seismic hazard in Italy. On 26 and 30 October, two other strong earthquakes shook central Italy again, with their epicenter in the already affected area. One year after its inception, the sequence is still active recording numerous events per day. To date there are 75177. This Story Maps tells the sequence through images, videos and interactive maps produced in recent months by the Institute and published on INGVterremoti's web and social channels.
