The seismic sequence continues with a total number of aftershocks equal to about 23.300 since 24 August. At 11:00 today, November 5, there are about 663 earthquakes with a magnitude between 3 and 4, 41 with a magnitude between 4 and 5 and 5 with a magnitude greater than or equal to 5, located by the National Seismic Network of the 'National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).

After the event of 30 October, at 07:40 Italian time of magnitude M 6.5 a total of over 3300 seismic events have been located. At 11:00 today, November 5, there are about 316 earthquakes with a magnitude between 3 and 4 and 20 with a magnitude between 4 and 5 located by the INGV National Seismic Network.

The strongest earthquake since the last update (04 November, 10:00 Italian time) was localized in the province of Rieti on 5 November at 09:17 Italian time, with a magnitude of 3.6, near Accumoli and Cittareale.
