Seismic sequence in central Italy: update 3 September, 19 pm

From the beginning of the sequence, with the earthquake of magnitude 6.0 which occurred at 03:36 Italian time on 24 August, the National Seismic Network of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) has located overall over 4500 events157 landsmotions of magnitude between 3.0 and 4.0; 15 localized ones of magnitude between 4.0 and 5.0 e a di magnitude greater than 5.0 (that of magnitude 5.4 (Mw 5.3) which took place on 24 August at 04:33 Italian time in the Norcia area (PG).

From 9.00 this morning (time of last update) They were events of magnitude greater than or equal to 3.0, shown in the table below.  The strongest earthquake, of magnitude Ml 4.5 (Mw 4.3) it took place this morning at 12:18 between the Provinces of Macerata and Ascoli Piceno near Castelsantangelo sul Nera (MC), Montemonaco (AP) and Montegallo (AP).
