Numerous seismic events were recorded in the sequence area tonight. After the 6.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 03:36 Italian time on August 24, the National Seismic Network (RSN) of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) located a total of 2220 events: 125 earthquakes with a magnitude between 3.0 and 4.0; 12localized ones of magnitude between 4.0 and 5.0 e a di magnitude greater than 5.0 (that of magnitude 5.4 (Mw 5.3) which took place on 24 August at 04:33 Italian time in the Norcia area (PG).

From 18.00 yesterday evening (time of the last update) there were 3.0 events with a magnitude greater than 3, shown in the table below; the louder it wasthat of this morning of magnitude M 3.6 at 08:20 (Italian time) in the province of Rieti a few kilometers from Accumoli.
