With reference to the seismic events of this morning in the Campi Flegrei area, we report the update note from the Director of the Vesuvian Observatory of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV-OV), Giuseppe De Natale:

Starting from 07:20 GMT (9:20 local time) seismic activity in the form of a swarm was recorded in the Campi Flegrei area. At the moment the number of events is 31. The maximum magnitude is equal to 2.5. The area affected by the swarm is that of Pisciarelli-Solfatara. The depths of the events are between 2 and 3 km below sea level.
