On 18-19-20 May the event organized by the Susan G. Komen Italia Association will be held in Rome, the Race for the Cure, hosted in the Health Village set up in Circus Maximus which welcomes numerous initiatives dedicated to health, to sport and well-being.
It is from the Bocca della Verità that the Race for the Cure will start on Sunday 20 May at 10:00, a race where the protagonists are the Women in Pink, women who have been confronted with breast cancer and whose positive testimony has generated a change in the way of dealing with the disease and has been an encouragement to all the women who receive this diagnosis every year.
The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology will participate in the Race for the Cure with the "INGV for LIFE" team made up of 78 members, a team made up of men, women, children and runners.
We will run and walk together wearing the shirt that INGV has made especially for this event and the bandana sponsored by the American Geophysical Union which has included our initiative in the general one of the "March for science".
