Thursday 24 August at 11.00, one year after the start of the seismic sequence of Amatrice-Visso-Norcia, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), in Via di Vigna Murata 605 in Rome, opens its doors to the public and journalists to present the results of the work carried out by the Institute during the year, what was new about the dynamics of earthquakes and how the Institute intends to engage in the study of seismicity to be increasingly at the service of the nation. On this occasion, the Director of the Vesuvius Observatory of INGV, Francesca Bianco, will take stock of the situation on the earthquake that hit the island of Ischia on the evening of last August 21st.
The meeting will be opened by the President of INGV, Carlo Doglioni.
Speakers include:

Afterwards, a visit to the seismic room and the Institute's laboratories.
