WORDS FOR THE EARTH

Seismic Literacy Day 2023

Friday January 13 2023 occurs the fourth Seismic Literacy Day, the event of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) to promote the knowledge of earthquakes, the environment, volcanoes and the importance of the actions undertaken for the seismic prevention and for safeguarding the Earth. A special moment to raise awareness of the research and service activities carried out by INGV and to share our constant attention to the local area, the environment and risk mitigation.

In this fourth edition they will be proposed initiatives in many INGV offices throughout the national territory so that the public is increasingly involved in the scientific activities put in place. Also, with live streaming seminars on YouTube, it will be possible to follow the interventions of researchers in the world of Geosciences.

The program of activities is attached which will take place in the various INGV offices during the day.
