Preview screening in Naples of “VULC - The essence of a bond” to discover with Andrea Moccia and Mauro Di Vito what links volcanoes, science, people and territory
Tuesday May 27, at Multicinema Modernissimo of Naples, will be previewed “VULC - The Essence of a Bond”, the independent documentary on Italian volcanoes made by Geopop with the participation ofNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).
The documentary, written and directed by Andrea Moccia e Claudius Morelli, wants tell the science, the territory and the humanity of Etna, Stromboli, Vesuvius and Campi Flegrei through the lives of those who live with these volcanoes every day: from scientists to volcanological guides, through restaurateurs, artists and photographers.
A human as well as geological story that gives the public the depth of the bond between man and volcano told through the four shades chosen for each protagonist: theinvisibility for the Phlegraean Fields, the solitude for Stromboli, the life for Etna and theiconicity for Vesuvius.
For the INGV, the documentary will be given voice by Director of the Vesuvius Observatory (INGV-OV) Mauro A. Di Vito, which will offer a scientific and personal look at the relationship and coexistence between volcanoes, research and territory.
At the end of the screening Director Di Vito will be present together with Andrea Moccia, editorial director of Geopop, and Claudio Morelli, director of the documentary, to answer questions and curiosities from the publicThe debate will be moderated by Ciro Pellegrino, journalist of Fanpage.it.
From June, “VULC - The Essence of a Bond” It will also be available in 4K on Geopop's official YouTube channel.
