An earthquake measuring Ml 2.7 (preliminary magnitude) was recorded by the Monitoring Network of the Vesuvius Observatory of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) at 22:54 Italian time on 19 December 2020. The epicenter occurred in the area of the Campi Flegrei (North of the city of Naples) at a depth of about 2,23 km
