Visit by the President of IFREMER Prof. JY Perrot

Today INGV was pleased to receive a visit from the President and Director General of IFREMER Prof. Jean-Yves Perrot, accompanied by a delegation from the French Embassy in Rome. THE IFREMER ? the most important French institute for the sea. During the meeting the President, Nadia Pinardi and Paolo Favali presented the activities of INGV with particular attention to the marine ones which have been carried out for a long time also in collaboration between the two institutions. The talks were particularly positive and led to the common decision to sign a framework agreement between IFREMER and INGV which governs both the numerous activities both ongoing and further new activities.
