Also this year the appointment with the Festival of Science and Philosophy - Virtute e Canoscenza of Foligno is renewed, with the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) as protagonist. There will be numerous events which, from 21 to 24 April, will enliven the event, this year once again in presence.
INGV participates in the event on Saturday 23 April at 17:30 with the conference "Geodynamics and Earthquakes" held by the President, Carlo Doglioni, and with four game-shows (Friday 22 and Sunday 24 April, starting at 10 :00) in which scientists, researchers and musicians from INGV and CNR-CREA will give the public an immersive experience to experience the Earth as protagonists and discover the mechanisms that govern the energy that is hidden under our feet, getting ready to face the risks that this can generate. A spectacular and interactive story in which music, videos, games and songs will be the masters to discover the forces of nature but also and above all the lives of those who have chosen research as their profession and mission.
During the event, the Geomia project will also be presented, promoted by the Laboratory of Experimental Sciences of Foligno together with INGV, the CNR and the Civil Protection Department to develop a platform designed for children in order to introduce them to natural phenomena in a funny way.
