After last year's success, the PaleoFest – Festival of Prehistory is back, the initiative promoted by the Accademia Valdarnese del Poggio and the Paleontological Museum of Montevarchi, scheduled for Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September in Montevarchi (AR).
Over the weekend, the town in the Arezzo area and its historic center will come alive with numerous prehistoric initiatives, with meetings, conferences, workshops, exhibitions and shows dedicated to young and old.
The Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) will participate in the event with a descriptive tour of the seismic phenomenon, in which researchers from the Arezzo Seismological Observatory, using a real-time seismic station set up at the stand, will lead visitors on a journey of discovery through earthquakes and will be available to answer questions.
