The Conference "Earth's Gravity Field and Earth Sciences" will be held on Friday 22 March at the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei (Palazzo Corsini - Rome, Via della Lungara 10), organized primarily by the Prof. Fernando Sansò and Prof. Riccardo Barzaghi of the Milan Polytechnic.
“In this Conference of the Accademia dei Lincei”, explains Prof. Sansò, “we wanted to take stock of the state of knowledge and future programs in the field of gravimetry, both worldwide and in Italy. In particular, the Conference focuses on some applications of considerable interest in Geodesy, Solid Earth Physics and Oceanography”.
Among the speakers who will take part in the Conference, Federica Riguzzi (INGV - National Earthquake Observatory) and Giovanna Berrino (INGV - Vesuvius Observatory).
