The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), Hon. Prof. Lorenzo Fioramonti was received by the President and Director General of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), in the presence of the Department Directors , of Section, of the internal members of the CDA, of the Coordinators of the European research infrastructures Emso and Epos and researchers of the Institute at the headquarters in Rome.
In the Seismic Room, in addition to 24-hour seismic and volcanic monitoring, the numerous activities and projects in which INGV is a protagonist were illustrated. Visibly interested in the work carried out by the Institute's staff, the Deputy Minister, after listening to a staff representative regarding the completion of the stabilization procedures for precarious staff, recalled how the Miur is working to definitively overcome this age-old problem.
