Charity match on Tuesday 4 October in Rieti
The appointment is for Tuesday 4 October, at 20.00, at the municipal stadium "Manlio Scopigno" in Rieti: National Singers against Civil Protection.
The occasion is the charity match, organized by the Associazione Nazionale Italiana Singers, to raise funds to be allocated to the realization of the Smile Project: three multifunctional recreational centers to be donated to the municipalities of Accumoli, Amatrice and Arquata, severely hit by the earthquake of 24 August last.
The Civil Protection team will deploy men from the components and operational structures of the National Service engaged for over a month in the areas affected by the earthquake: in addition to the Department, the Fire Brigade, the Armed Forces, the Police, the Carabinieri, the Finance Police, the State Forestry Corps , Coast Guard, Red Cross, National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps, INGV, Ispra, Cnr, Volunteer Organizations, Regions and Municipalities.
The event, which represents a further moment of cohesion for the entire National Civil Protection System, is part of an entire evening of sport, music and solidarity, with a watchword transformed into a hashtag for social media: #iocisono, sign of closeness to the victims of the earthquake and their families.
