An earthquake of magnitude ML 3.6 occurred this evening at 20:57 PM Italian time (21 August 2017 at 18:57 PM UTC) near the island of Ischia in the province of Naples. The epicenter was located offshore by the National Seismic Network of theIstituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) at a depth of approximately 10 km near the coast of the Municipality of Forio (NA).

According to the questionnaires that have arrived so far on the site http://www.haisentitoilterremoto.it/, tonight's earthquake was felt above all on the island of Ischia.
