This evening, at 19:37 Italian time on 1 January 2019, an earthquake of magnitude ML 4.2 (Mw 4.1) was located by the INGV National Seismic Network, with its epicenter 3 km west of Collelongo in the southern sector of the province of Aquila, at a depth of 17 km.
