The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology transforms 11 May 2011 into a day of scientific information on earthquakes.
The date of May 11, 2011? been indicated as the day in which Rome will unleash? a devastating earthquake.
That day, probably, around 30 earthquakes will be recorded throughout Italy. ? this is in fact the average number of earthquakes
which are detected daily in our country.

INGV opens its doors to the public throughout the day and offers meetings with researchers, visit to the monitoring room,
guided tours
the interactive exhibition on earthquakes and the earth's magnetic field, short videos su YouTube/INGVterremoti
to explain the earthquake phenomenon in various aspects and updates on the activity? seismic from the monitoring room,
