New video: TSUNAMI (first part)

Understand how and why? tsunamis occur, know their evolution in space and time, find out what the risk is for the Italian coasts, know what? good to do to mitigate its effects.
These and others are the themes that are presented in this film in order to better understand a phenomenon that become infamous after the catastrophic tsunami (tidal wave) that? occurred in December 2004 in the Indian Ocean.
Today ? now is the time to address the issue in a less emotional way than at the time and to know its mechanisms in order to prepare adequate defences, which pass through the knowledge of the phenomenon and above all of some simple rules of conduct.

The video takes us on an imaginary journey that starts from the Big Bang, passing through the formation of the Earth, up to the present day; and again from the interior of the Earth, under the sea, together with the wave up to the impact on the coast; and then again in Italy and in the world, in the places where tsunamis occurred to find out what phenomena preceded them. A journey through space and time around and inside the Earth, a complex and constantly moving planet which, thanks to its characteristics, has allowed the development of life.
