With regard to the explosion that this morning, around midday, accompanied the outflow of mud, with tragic consequences in the Maccalube reserve in Aragona-Caldare, in Agrigento, a brief note is sent below by the director of the section of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology of Palermo, Rocco Favara, on sedimentary volcanism (Mud Volcanoes).
