From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 May 2022, the Race for the Cure 2022, the largest demonstration for the fight against breast cancer organized by the association 'Susan G. Komen Italy'.
The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) will be present for the 5th consecutive year with the team 'INGV FOR LIFE', which you can join by searching for the team name in the section “Join an existing team” of the event website.
The numerous initiatives planned, which will once again have the aim of making the public aware of the importance of preventing a pathology that can affect both women and men, will culminate on Sunday 8 May with the traditional 5 km run and with the walk of 2 kilometers in the streets of the center of the capital.
It will be possible to register for the Race via the web or at the stands set up at the Circus Maximus until the morning of 8 May. Subscriptions will contribute, through the fundraising promoted by Komen Italia, to the realization of numerous projects and initiatives for the prevention and fight against breast cancer.
