INGV at BergamoScienza 2014

The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology is participating for the first time in BergamoScienza, a festival which, now in its twelfth edition, offers conferences, workshops, exhibitions, shows and meetings with Nobel Prize winners and world-famous scientists to address complex issues with a simple and informative language.
From 9 to 11 October at the Municipality of Dalmine (BG) the INGV is proposing ?The Earth within your reach?, an activity? didactic that puts the emphasis on the use of simple materials, with laboratories of immediate reproducibility? for the deepening of some aspects related to the evolution of the planet Earth, to the discovery of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
A purpose? educational which also has implications towards risk reduction by stimulating reflection on what can be the appropriate behaviors in the event of a disaster? natural.
