On 4 December 2018, starting at 9,30 in the Conference Room of the Rome office, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) Transparency Day will be held, an annual event open to all, promoted by the new Head of Prevention of Corruption and Transparency, Dr. Stephen Salvi.
The day represents an opportunity to show the activities carried out by INGV in the field of Transparency, ie the accessibility of information of real interest to the community of users. Furthermore, the participation of stakeholders in INGV's activities will make it possible to acquire feedback on the degree of user satisfaction with regard to the comprehensibility, accessibility and usability of the published data, identifying - where highlighted - further information needs, in the framework of a process continuous improvement of the transparency and quality of services.
This year the Day includes an in-depth study on the Transparency of scientific data and on INGV's data policy.
