The CentroScienza Onlus Association, under the patronage of theIstituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), presents the seventh edition of the GiovedìScienza Award, aimed at researchers under 35 who have achieved significant scientific and technological results while working at an Italian research institution. The Award was founded in 2011 to encourage the commitment and attention of research leaders in the field of science communication. Scientific merit is the basis for selecting the 10 finalists; the final competition, a match of images and words, will determine the winner. The competition focuses on the corporate world, as part of the Future section, which aims to stimulate dialogue and interaction between the scientific community, the economic fabric, and the innovation ecosystem. The Elena Benaduce special section is dedicated to research projects that have direct or significant impacts on people's well-being and quality of life.
The novelty of this 2018 edition is the introduction of the Industry 4.0 section, aimed at design proposals that start from the concept of Industry 4.0 (www.mise.gov.it/index.php/industria40).
Up for grabs for all sections, cash prizes and the opportunity to tell science to the GiovedìScienza audience with a dedicated conference. Applications can be submitted until February 28, 2018.
