The CentroScienza Onlus Association, with the patronage of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), presents the seventh edition of the GiovedìScienza Award, aimed at researchers under 35 who have obtained significant results from a scientific-technological point of view, operating in a Italian research institution. The Award was created in 2011 to encourage the commitment and attention of the protagonists of research in the field of science communication. Scientific merit is the evaluation basis for selecting the 10 finalists; the final competition, a match of images and words, will decide the winner. The competition looks at the world of companies, within the Future section which aims to stimulate dialogue and interaction between the scientific world, the economic fabric and the innovation ecosystem. The Elena Benaduce special section is instead dedicated to those research works that have direct or important effects on people's well-being and quality of life.

The novelty of this 2018 edition is the introduction of the Industry 4.0 section, aimed at design proposals that start from the concept of Industry 4.0 (www.mise.gov.it/index.php/industria40).
Up for grabs for all sections, cash prizes and the opportunity to tell science to the GiovedìScienza audience with a dedicated conference. Applications can be submitted until February 28, 2018.
