On Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 February, the Rome headquarters of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) will host the National Conference of the International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (IAGA).
Two days in which we will talk not only about electric and magnetic fields (relating to the core, the mantle and the crust of the earth, the middle and upper atmosphere, the ionosphere and magnetosphere), but also about interdisciplinary topics and connections between related scientific sectors .
The IAGA-ITALY Committee intends to promote the participation of young scholarship holders, doctoral students, engaged in various capacities in the disciplines of IAGA competence, in order to develop a mutual comparison within the scientific community.
Ample space will be given to the presentation of posters and the discussion of project results. There will also be a roundtable where IAGA's future prospects will be discussed.
All papers will be published in the Annals of Geophysics journal.
The deadline for submission is April 30, 2018.
