One year after the beginning of the seismic sequence of Amatrice-Visso-Norcia, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), in Via di Vigna Murata 605 in Rome, has opened its doors to the public and journalists to present the results of the work carried out by the Institute during the year, what was new about the dynamics of earthquakes and how the Institute intends to engage in the study of seismicity to be increasingly at the service of the nation. On this occasion, the Director of the Vesuvius Observatory of INGV, Francesca Bianco, took stock of the situation on the earthquake that struck the island of Ischia on the evening of last August 21st.
