January 13 marks the centenary of the Marsica earthquake, one of the most? destructive of Italian seismic history, what caused? more of 30 victims and extensive damage in numerous inhabited centres, even outside Abruzzo.
For the occasion, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv) has scheduled two appointments:
15 and 16 January, at the Orsini-Colonna Castle in Avezzano, the conference ?One hundred years after the earthquake. The path of seismic culture? (event poster e invitation)
January 17, at the Teatro San Francesco in Pescina, the conference ?Reconstructions: Marsica 2015, L?Aquila 2009? (levent poster)
