Vespucci School Ship (http://www.marina.difesa.it/uominimezzi/navi/Pagine/Vespucci.aspx) will host from 11 to 18 October 2016 a training course organized by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) and aimed at 30 university students with the aim of making known the oceanographic and underwater technologies and methodologies of the past in order to understand them the historical evolution and the next future challenges. The course is organized in collaboration with the Italian Navy and the support of the Ligurian District of Marine Technologies, of the International School of Marine Technologies, Environmental Monitoring and Strategic Innovative Research (MARIS) , of the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy, the Naval Experimentation Support Center of the Navy and the Center for Maritime Research and Experimentation of NATO.
