The exhibition “Earth - The Planet in 5 Senses”, organized and curated byNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), lands in Livorno where it will continue to intrigue and fascinate visitors from the spaces of the Museum of Natural History of the Mediterranean (MUSMED).
After the great success of the exhibition in Rome, at the Technotown spaces in Villa Torlonia, and in Genoa, on the occasion of the Science Festival and with the subsequent installation at the Palazzo Ducale, the exhibition will be inaugurated at MUSMED Friday 5 December at 16pm e It will reopen to the public from December 6th until April 30th 2026..
Il interactive and interdisciplinary exhibition path, designed according to criteria of inclusiveness e accessibility, was designed to offer visitors a multisensory involvement able to guide them through the direct recognition of important natural phenomena, often invisible, that keep our planet alive.
From the listening of seismic waves to view of the Earth's magnetic field, the INGV exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the five senses that allow humans to constantly interact with their surroundings, enriching their interests and increasing their awareness.
“Earth - The Planet in 5 Senses” will be opened with Free admission on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00, on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 13:00. On Sundays the exhibition will be open from 15:00 pm to 18:00 pm with a paid guided tour upon reservation..
