From the 10 to the 12 September, in Naples, the annual appointment with the is scheduled Conference of Scientific and Space Attachés and Agricultural Experts, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), in the presence - in the institutional session of 12 September - of Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani.
The aim of the event, entitled “Scientific diplomacy at the service of growth”, is to take stock of science and research in our country and how the network of Attachés abroad at Italian Embassies and Consulates can best enhance them in their activities around the world.
In the context of the Conference and the multi-year collaboration between the Farnesina and the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), a meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10th Visit reserved for Scientific Staff at the Vesuvius Observatory of the Institute (INGV-OV), to enhance the role of the numerous scientific representatives at the Italian Embassies in high-risk seismic areas.
The meeting will represent an important opportunity to present the activities of the INGV and promote direct knowledge of its skills and projects, with the aim of initiating a fruitful discussion on possible future international scientific collaborations that strengthen Italy's projection abroad.
