The Board of Directors of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) has appointed Salvatore Stramondo as the new Director of the National Earthquake Center (CNT). Stramondo, former Head of the Satellite Data Functional Unit for Earth Observation of the INGV, succeeds the outgoing Salvatore Mazza.
