6? episode ?Students under the rubble? - Friday? 6 February 2015 - 15 pm
Preceded by a long series of aftershocks, on the night of April 6, 2009, a 6,3 magnitude Richter earthquake struck? the territory of Abruzzo and a large part of central Italy, with devastating consequences.
The final balance of the earthquake in L'Aquila was 308 dead and 1.178 injured between Italians and foreigners and over 10 billion euros in estimated damages. That cursed night collapsed? also a part of the student house in L'Aquila, but 55 other off-site university students, who temporarily occupied rented private homes, also remained under the rubble.
Nicola Bianchi, 23, enrolled in the second year of biotechnological sciences, was one of these. His father, Sergio Bianchi, the geologist Michele Orifici and the RAI journalist Umberto Braccili, author of the book ?Rubble inside and outside?, make us relive in this episode the terrible experience of the earthquake in Aquila and the initiatives promoted by Avus, the association of university victims of the L'Aquila earthquake, set up to keep alive the memory of missing children and to promote the protection and safety of university students with initiatives aimed at earthquake prevention.
