The Police Commissioner of Catania Alberto Francini went today to the Etna Observatory of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV-OE) where he visited the facility and met the Director Eugenio Privitera.

It was a visit particularly wanted by the Quaestor, as the INGV-OE of Catania can be said to be representative of the Sicilian geographical area.

Alberto Francini lingered for a long time in the operations room of the structure where the Director and the staff of the Institute illustrated the geophysical phenomena that occur in the Catania area.
The Quaestor found the meeting very interesting, ensuring the maximum collaboration of the State Police in the face of any emergency.
