Since 26 October 2013, has Etna resumed its activity? episodic, so far with 6 paroxysms, the last of which last December 2nd.
To give a picture of the recent eruptive period of Etna, which began in January 2011, a year and a half after the conclusion of the last significant eruption on the upper eastern slope of the volcano (13 May 2008 - 6 July 2009), the Etneo Observatory of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv).
