From the 25 27 July, in the spaces of Fortunate Palace a Rionero in Vulture (PZ), the first edition of the Festival “EMINALIS - The Boundaries of History”, promoted byArchaeological Club of Vulture “Giuseppe Catenacci” and sponsored by the Municipality of Rionero in Vulture and National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).
The aim of the event is to enhance the role of historical memory, technical-scientific skills and communities in the construction of theterritorial identity of the South, with particular attention to relationship between science, territory and civil responsibility.
Three days of debates, exhibitions, keynote, urban trekking, editorial presentations and artistic performances will accompany visitors to discover the complex relationship between past and present.
In this widespread laboratory of ideas, meetings and narratives, the INGV will participate with the intervention of Anna Maria Vicari, Director of the Irpinia Section of the Institute, within the framework of the Round Table entitled “Memory and Territory”.
EMINALIS will be an opportunity to promote knowledge of Vulture, an area characterized by an ancient history and strong archaeological importance, also from a scientific and geological perspective.
