Dr. Antonio Meloni, former INGV research manager, with Decree of the Minister of Education, University and Research n. 169 of 21/3/2016 was appointed Chairman of the National Science Commission for Antarctica.
At the same time, Dr. Massimo Pompilio, first INGV researcher, is present in the same Commission as an expert.
The positions will have a four-year term.
