The Italian Association of Volcanology (AIV) and theIstituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) will organize the "Rittmann Young Researchers" conference in Bari from December 13th to 15th, a meeting place for doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, young researchers, and master's students. The conference is open to young people working/studying in Italy or on Italian volcanoes. Four thematic sessions are planned: volcanic geology, petrology and geochemistry, numerical simulations and modeling, surveillance, and remote sensing.
Each session will be introduced by an invited talk by national and international industry experts, who will guide the discussion.
The presentations will mainly be posters, with the possibility of oral communication lasting 5 minutes.
