The Italian Association of Volcanology (AIV) and the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) will organize the "Rittmann Young Researchers" Conference in Bari from 13 to 15 December, dedicated to the meeting between doctoral students, research fellows, young researchers and master students. The meeting is open to young people who work/study in Italy or on Italian volcanoes. Four thematic sessions are planned: volcanic geology, petrology and geochemistry, numerical simulations and modeling, surveillance and remote sensing.
Each session will be introduced by an invited talk by national and international industry experts, who will guide the discussion.
The presentations will mainly be posters, with the possibility of oral communication lasting 5 minutes.
