
The volume presentation webinar will be held on Friday 22 January “Science, law and criminal trial in the age of risk”, collective work by Alessandro Amato, Giovanni Flora and Cecilia Valbonesi, which wishes to offer an answer to the question about as e how much science must enter into the dynamics of a criminal trial.
In the awareness of the difficulties, but also of the need, that one good science enter the procedural bed, the event moves from the conviction that science and law must co-exist to enhance the methodological dialogue and the convergence on the ethical assumptions of the two disciplines.
Organized by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Florence (DSG-UniFI) and the Foundation for Forensic Training of the Florence Bar Association, in collaboration with the Department of the Civil Protection, the webinar will see the participation, among others, of the President of INGV Carlo Doglioni, of the Deputy Head of the Department of Civil Protection Maria Siclari and of the Director of the Department of Legal Sciences of UniFi Andrea Simoncini.
The day will be streamed on the “INGV Eventi” YouTube channel.
