The Maritime Director of the Coast Guard of Eastern Sicily, Rear Admiral (CP) Giancarlo Russo, was yesterday on a visit to the Island of Stromboli accompanied by representatives of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
Through a cognitive path at the Advanced Operations Center of Stromboli, the Maritime Director was illustrated the work carried out by the personnel of the Competence Centers that make up the new Aeolian Monitoring Center which monitor and study the volcano.
