The third edition of theOpen Day of the Castelli Romani and Monti Prenestini, a day entirely dedicated to events and free visits to palaces, villas, archaeological sites and museums in the area, to participate in art workshops, exhibitions, theatrical performances, book presentations and outdoor activities.
The Geophysical Museum of Rocca di Papa of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) will participate in the event with the event "Exploring the Earth: Journey from the Core to the Stars", organized as part of the initiatives envisaged by the Museumgrandtour Territorial Museum System.
For the occasion, the Museum will remain open from 16.00 to 21.00 and will offer guided tours to discover geology and geophysics by experiencing firsthand the evolutionary stages of scientific research and of the disciplines that study our planet.
In addition, the Museum will also participate in the 40th edition of the Chestnut Festival: for the occasion it will open its doors to the public for further free guided tours in the afternoons of 18 and 19 October and in the morning of Sunday 20.
