In Florence a cycle of conferences to promote the scientific tradition of studies on planet Earth
THENational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) and organize a cycle of three popular conferences on Earth Sciences that will accompany the public to discover earthquakes, volcanoes e sea level rise.
The objectives of the meetings, organized within the framework of the agreement between INGV and the Ximenian Observatory which will run until 2024, are to disseminate and enhance the scientific tradition that unites the two Institutes.
The conferences will be INGV's contribution to the initiative “The Network of Scientific Culture”, born just this year from the agreement between various scientific realities of the Tuscan capital for foster the link between science and society and develop an avant-garde cultural offer with multidisciplinary and multidimensional research, in line with the European objectives of Sustainable Development dell 'Agenda 2030 and Next Generation US.
