PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION CAMPI FLEGREI Award 2023 | The Land of Volcanoes

The perfect opportunity to celebrate the grandeur of Italian volcanic nature with the art of photography 

Out the cameras and aim the lenses! 

The VII edition of the National Photo Contest has started "Campi Flegrei Award 2023”, the event aimed at photography enthusiasts from all over Italy which this year is organized in collaboration with theNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).

Competitors will have to try their hand at the topic

The Land of Volcanoes
Geodiversity and biodiversity of Italian volcanic landscapes

an ode to the beauty and power of Italy's volcanic nature 

From north to south of ItalyIndeed, volcanoes and their activity have sculpted the unique landscapes, environments and ecosystems of our territory over time.

This year, the contest invites photography lovers to capture the magic and diversity of the Land of Volcanoes through their lens.

The competition is divided into two sections which offer artists multiple opportunities to express themselves

• Section A - INGV 2024 CALENDAR: 

the winning photographs will be published in the INGV 2024 calendar 

• Section B - SCIENTIFIC MONOGRAPHY

the winning works will be an integral part of INGV scientific publications, with the author's acknowledgment.

Participate and make history!

Participation is open to all photography enthusiasts. 

To participate in the contest, it is mandatory register by 30 September 2023. 

The works will have to be sent by midnight on 31 October 2023. 

Un preliminary online workshop dedicated to members will be held, after 10 September, by experts from INGV and the Flegrea PHOTO Association to illustrate the themes of the competition.
