"August 21, 1962: a forgotten earthquake": is the title of the story maps resulting from the collaboration between INGVterremoti and the authors of the book "August 21, 1962 - History and memory of a forgotten earthquake" (published by Albatros Edizioni) in memory of the sixtieth anniversary of the calamitous event that struck the inland areas of Campania.
Drawing on various sources, including newspapers of the time and scientific publications, the story maps reconstructs from multiple perspectives an event that had a strong impact on Italy at the time.
