The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology welcomes Ukrainian researchers in the field of geosciences for scientific stays.
INGV, accepting the invitation of the Minister of University and Research, Maria Cristina Messa, implements the provisions of art. 4 of Legislative Decree February 28, 2022 n. 16 regarding actions to support the Ukrainian scientific community.
“The measure, dictated by the extraordinary situation of necessity and urgency connected to the serious international crisis, aims to be a support to the Ukrainian scientific community towards which we express our full solidarity. Science has no borders, even in wartime, and must be a resource to help alleviate the many hardships of fellow researchers", declares the President of INGV Carlo Doglioni.
INGV hopes that the action of the international community will be able to put an end to the war conflict in the shortest time and that fundamental values such as peace, freedom, security and justice will come back to life in the Ukrainian territory.
