Earthquake Literacy Day is held on 13 January, the event that the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) promotes to talk about earthquakes, volcanoes, the environment and the importance of our actions for seismic, volcanic and for the protection of the Earth. A special occasion to learn about INGV's research and service activities and to share with the general public its constant attention to the local area, the environment and risk mitigation tools. This year, in its fourth edition, the Seismic Literacy events are divided into two online days, for schools and for the general public.

Primary Schools (program)

Thursday 13 January 2022 | from 9:00 to 11:30

Lower secondary schools (program)

Thursday 13 January 2022 | from 11:00 to 13:00

High school (program)

Friday 14 January 2022 | from 10:00 to 13:00

Over the two days, the researchers will also present the latest editorial news from INGV and numerous game and educational activities that teachers can easily carry out in class with students, to introduce them to our planet and the best actions for its protection.
