Two prestigious international awards have been conferred to Dario Sabbagh, researcher at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology and member of the INGV Team of the Limadou-Science project
● the Young Scientist Award (YSA) conferred by the International Union of Radio Science (URSI GASS 2020) at the XXXIII General Assembly and Scientific Symposium for the Summary Paper presented in the context of Commission G – Ionospheric Radio and Propagation.
● The prize awarded by the IUGG/EMSEV - Electromagnetic Studies of Earthquakes and Volcanoes working group for the presentation "Satellite electron density variations derived with different backgrounds in different solar conditions" at the AGU Fall Meeting 2020 as part of the "Natural Hazard" session.
The two international prizes are joined by those conferred by the Italian Physics Society (SIF2020) to Angelo De Santis and Luca Spogli, whose presentations were awarded among the best of the conference, in the "Geophysics and environmental physics" section.
These awards give particular prestige to INGV's research in fields that constitute a real "frontier" of scientific research.
